A Taste of Thanksgiving with a Spoon
CHICAGO – November 12, 2008—This Thanksgiving be thankful for your family, health, happiness and of course Berry Chill. To help you revel in the holiday spirit, the all-natural chilled yogurt shop has created the Berry Gobbler: five ounces of Pumpkin Spice yogurt topped with pie crust crumbles, marshmallows, and Craisins. This treat will be priced at $3 and will be available starting November 17, 2008 until the end of the month.
The original Berry Chill, which opened in March 2008 at 635 N. State, serves more than 1,000 people per day, seven days a week. The Loop location (132 N. LaSalle) is even larger, with outdoor patio seating, laptop stations, and free Wi-Fi. In addition, the newest Berry Chill just opened at 500 W. Madison (Ogilvie Train Station), with additional locations opening this fall at 957 W. Belmont and the Merchandise Mart.
About Berry Chill
Berry Chill is the original chilled yogurt treat that’s naturally lactose free, full of live active cultures and 100 percent fat free. Berry Chill was developed by Yogurteur, Michael Farah, with the help of Dr. Mitchell S. Kaplan, a prominent local gastroenterologist. The yogurt contains probiotics not found in traditional fro-yo, and is certified by the National Yogurt Association. At 20 calories per ounce and made with all natural ingredients, it's the finest in yogurt. Berry Chill offers the Culture Club card, a loyalty and gift card program. Consumers can link their Culture Club card to one of several partner charities to which Berry Chill will donate a portion of each sale.
