BERRY CHILL LAUNCHES 30-SECOND DIGITAL VIDEO

Starring Chicago Bears Player Devin Hester
Each Hester Touchdown This Season Will Earn a $1,000 Donation to Charity

CHICAGODecember 5, 2008 – Berry Chill, Chicago’s first all natural yogurt bar, today launches a 30-second digital video commercial starring Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester. Hester is known for his lightning-quick decisions on the field, earning him the nickname "Anytime" – the inspiration behind the 30-second online video available now at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBeobWHQ5Uk

The Berry Chill video opens with Devin Hester on the football field for the kick-off. As the ball comes toward him, he decides whether to "wave fair catch," "take a knee" or "run like hell," and graphics show his thought process as computerized options. Later, he applies the same precise decision-making at Berry Chill, only this time he's choosing his favorite toppings. http://www.berrychill.com/devinhester “I’ve been a fan of Berry Chill yogurt since this summer, when I discovered that it's lactose free," said Devin Hester, who is lactose intolerant. "It's the first time I've been able to enjoy chilled yogurt, and I really appreciate that it's high in protein, too."

“The Hester,” which is Original chilled yogurt topped with his favorites (fresh pineapple, Rice Krispie Treats and gummy bears), is available at Berry Chill's three locations, 635 N. State, 132 N. LaSalle and Ogilvie Station, 500 W. Madison. In addition, every time Hester scores a touchdown for the rest of the season, a $1,000 donation will be made to his new foundation, Anytime 23. Berry Chill is also offering a limited-edition T-shirt, which is identical to the one worn by Hester in the photo attached, for $20 to benefit his foundation as well.

The video was created in partnership with two Chicago-based short film directors from Columbia College in a barter deal that gave Berry Chill high-budget creative production resources for the cost of a donation to the arts program, as the directors strive to finish their current short film. A branded entertainment agreement was also a part of the deal, giving Berry Chill national traction as the short film is submitted to film festivals from Cannes to Sundance. The video was written and produced by Columbia College film student & staff member Dimitri William Moore, with revisions by director Vincent Singleton and co-producer Dave Feiferis.
