BERRY CHILL LAUNCHES BLACKHAWKS 2009 PLAYOFFS DEAL

Berry Chill to donate all proceeds from the B-Hawk Chill to the Chicago Blackhawk’s Charities

CHICAGOMay 19, 2009—To celebrate the Chicago Blackhawk’s run in the NHL playoffs, Berry Chill has created the B-Hawks Chill: five ounces of the Original yogurt topped with strawberries and Oreo cookies. For the entire series, when any customer purchases a B-Hawks Chill, Berry Chill will donate all proceeds to the Chicago Blackhawk’s charities. This limited-time offer is available in-store only and the promotion will begin today, Sunday, May, 17 at Berry Chill locations during regular business hours (635 N. State, 132 N. LaSalle and Ogilvie Station). Please note that you may subtract from the toppings combination, but no substitutions will be granted. Rooting for the Blackhawks never tasted this good…

The original Berry Chill, which opened in March 2008 at 635 N. State, serves more than 1,000 people per day, seven days a week. The Loop location (132 N. LaSalle) is even larger, with outdoor patio seating, laptop stations, and free Wi-Fi.  In addition, the newest Berry Chill just opened at 500 W. Madison (Ogilvie Train Station), with additional locations opening this summer at 957 W. Belmont and the Merchandise Mart.

About Berry Chill
Berry Chill is the original chilled yogurt treat that’s naturally lactose free, full of live active cultures and 100 percent fat free. Berry Chill was developed by Yogurteur, Michael Farah, with the help of Dr. Mitchell S. Kaplan, a prominent local gastroenterologist. The yogurt contains probiotics not found in traditional fro-yo, and is certified by the National Yogurt Association. At 20 calories per ounce and made with all natural ingredients, it's the finest in yogurt. Berry Chill offers the Culture Club card, a loyalty and gift card program. Consumers can link their Culture Club card to one of several partner charities to which Berry Chill will donate a portion of each sale.
